Abstract:

In the paper discusses small time-harmonic oscillations of a two-dimensional rigid body immersed in a viscous incompressible fluid. Shown, that the equations of such a model can be formulated in equivalent system of boundary integral equations (BIE) relative to potentials. Obtained an asymptotic solution such BIE. The results compared with the known exact theoretical solutions and the results obtained previously by numerical methods.

Keywords: linearized Navier-Stokes equations, viscous incompressible fluid, oscillations of body, boundary integral equations
