Abstract:

The effect of an aqueous solution of indigo carmine on the optical properties of the mucous membrane of the stomach wall was studied in vitro to improve the conditions of laser coagulation in the visible and near IR spectral ranges. It was shown that the introduction of an aqueous solution of indigo carmine into the mucous membrane of the stomach wall caused a sufficiently significant increase in the fraction of radiation absorbed in the mucous membrane while reducing its penetration depth.
