Influence of compressibility of filler on displacements in three-layer circular symmetrical plate

Abstract:

Axisymmetric bending of a three-layer circular plate with a compressible filler symmetric in thickness under the action of a distributed surface load is investigated. To describe the kinematics of the pack are adopted the hypotheses of a broken normal. The filler is light. The corresponding boundary-value problem includes a system of differential equations of equilibrium in dis-placements and boundary conditions. Its general analytical solution is obtained. Numerical results are shown for the case of plate bending under the action of a uniformly distributed load with rigid fixing of its contour.
