Abstract:

To solve particular applied problems it usually required to find the solution of non-linear algebraic and transcendental equations and their systems. Although the most commonly used method to solve such problems, Newton´s method, has several limitations and is not always able to solve the problem. It therefore becomes necessary to use other numerical methods. The paper demonstrates the application of the differentiation method by the parameter and the continuation method by the parameter.
